When We Bloom

When We Bloom

“The flower doesn’t dream of the bee.
It blossoms and the bee comes.”

—Mark Nepo

I used to believe that if I could just get it right—be prettier, quieter, easier to love—then love would find me.

So, I became a shapeshifter.
I polished. I shrank. I read books, made vision boards, performed emotional acrobatics, and told myself stories about timing, karma, and fate.

I turned myself into someone I thought someone else could love.

And yet... the love I was aching for never seemed to arrive in the way I hoped.

Now I know, I wasn’t calling in love. I was trying to outrun the parts of me that still felt unworthy of it.

It wasn’t until I stopped performing—and started becoming—that things began to shift.

Not instantly. Not in a fairytale kind of way.
But in the quiet, steady rhythm of returning to myself.

There was a moment, many years after my second divorce, when I found myself sitting in silence—not looking outward for a fix, but inward for the truth. And what I found wasn’t shame or lack, but something almost holy.

A flicker of realness.
A whisper of possibility.
A soft but certain knowing that I am, and have always been, whole.

This is the heart of what Calling in “The One” really is.

It’s not a quest to find someone out there.
It’s a journey back to you.

To the parts you’ve hidden.
To the dreams you’ve postponed.
To the voice you quieted just to keep the peace.

It’s a homecoming. A rooting. A blooming.

And as Mark Nepo writes, the flower doesn’t dream of the bee. It blossoms, and the bee comes.

There is a version of you—unapologetic, radiant, fully alive—that doesn’t need to chase love… because she is love. She becomes magnetic to it. And in that space, the right love comes not with force, but with grace.

Not in fantasy, but in truth.

And not because you were finally good enough—
but because you were finally YOU.

Ready to Begin Again?

If you feel the stir of something awakening within you—something that says, “There has to be more to love than this…”—I invite you to take the first step.

Not toward someone else. But toward the woman you’re becoming.

My 10-week private coaching journey through Calling in “The One” is now open for enrollment.
It’s soulful. It’s sacred. It’s real.
And it’s for women who are ready to stop waiting and start blooming.

Love & Light,

Michèle

TRADING A BEAUTIFUL STORY FOR A TRUE ONE

This week, I’m coming to you from the heart of Florence, Italy—a city I fell head over heels for when I first visited last year. From the moment I stepped off the plane in Rome (yes, the Conclave was in full swing—still no white smoke at the time), to the quiet charm of my historic boutique hotel nestled in the center of Florence, I felt something shift.

Gratitude. Joy. Ease.

Now, anyone who knows me knows how much I adore Paris. French culture has always felt like home—especially the champagne and butter. I even used to believe that purpose and passion could only exist for me there. Why? Because my mother’s family is French, and I thought that tethered me to one specific place.

Turns out, I was wrong.

Love Means Never Having to Say You're Sorry…? Really? As a starry-eyed 9-year-old in 1970, I still remember the flurry of excitement from several of my teenage aunties over the film Love Story, starring Ryan O’Neal and Ali MacGraw. It’s long been heralded as one of the great cinematic romances, and I’ll admit—I still find myself unwittingly watching it on those lazy, “wear-my-pjs-all-day” afternoons. It’s the kind of film that wraps you in the beauty of young love, grand gestures, and aching...
