Have you ever considered that you are a maker of miracles? Yes, you. Most of us go through life as though we’re reading a novel, flipping page after page, just waiting to see how it all turns out. We forget the most incredible truth: we are not passive readers—we’re the authors. Every moment, we’re generating our lives as though they were great works of art.
But here’s the thing: it’s easy to lose sight of the big picture when you’re caught up in the day-to-day. That’s where the power of a vision board comes in. It’s not just about pasting pretty pictures on a board—it’s about giving yourself permission to think big, to dream outside the box, and to imagine the kind of life you truly want to live.
Several years ago, I created a vision board that changed everything for me. I glued a giant $50,000 bill with my photo in the center onto that board, alongside a picture of the Eiffel Tower with a snapshot of my kids under it; and an image of a woman stepping boldly into a new career. I tucked the board away in my walk-in closet—honestly, I was a little embarrassed to let anyone see it. Who makes vision boards, right?
Well, it turns out a lotof people do. And they work.
Not long after, the $50,000 manifested in a way I never could have predicted. And in 2019, my kids and I celebrated Christmas in Paris—yes, Paris! I also started a new job and checked off so many other dreams that had quietly taken root on that little board hidden in my closet.
Even with all that success, I kept my vision board a secret for a long time. I didn’t want anyone to think I was foolish. But here’s what I’ve learned: there’s nothing foolish about owning your dreams. In fact, the most accomplished people I’ve met—respected professionals, leaders, and innovators—are visionaries in every sense of the word. Many of them proudly display vision boards in their offices and homes because they know that visualization is a powerful tool for turning intentions into reality.
Now, my vision board is out in the open, right where I can see it every day. It reminds me to dream big and stay aligned with the life I’m creating. But let me share a word of caution—there will always be people who don’t “get it,” who want to keep you small because they’re afraid to dream big for themselves. Don’t let their doubt stop you. Your dreams are yours for a reason, and they deserve your attention, energy, and belief.
If you’re curious about how a vision board could help you create the life you’re longing for, I’d love to invite you to join me for one of my upcoming workshops on February 11th and 13th. Together, we’ll explore the power of visioning and how you can take those first steps toward crafting your future.
Because a picture really is worth a thousand words. And sometimes, it’s the first step to writing a new chapter in the story of your life.
Celebrating Small Wins During Divorce: Why They Matter
When I think about celebrating small wins, it reminds me of a story from a client who we’ll call Mary. Mary was navigating her divorce with the weight of the world on her shoulders, feeling overwhelmed by the unknown. She wasn’t sure where to start, and every day felt like one more step on a never-ending uphill climb. Like many, she was stuck in the idea that her life wouldn’t be okay until all the pieces fell perfectly into place.
But here's the thing: waiting for that perfect "big win" before allowing yourself to feel proud or happy is a trap. You’re not just surviving until that day arrives. You’re growing. Expanding. Becoming someone stronger, someone wiser. And that deserves recognition every single step of the way.

Navigating Divorce: Real Emotions, Real Growth Divorce isn’t something most of us see coming when we say, “I do.” And when it does happen, it’s not tidy or easy—it’s raw, messy, and often fueled by anger, resentment, or grief. I know this because I’ve been there, and I didn’t handle it well. My second divorce was a wake-up call, but not in the way you might think. At the time, I let my emotions take the wheel. I lashed out, made impulsive decisions, and let my pain dictate my actions. Looking...

Intentions in Ink Instead of listing all your goals for the year, focus on just one meaningful intention. Write it down in your journal or on a sticky note and place it somewhere you’ll see it often. Breathe life into that single aspiration by imagining how it will feel as it gently guides your decisions and energy, without overwhelming you. Taking care of yourself, both mentally and physically, is crucial as you navigate life transitions. You're not alone, and there is a path forward, even...
